Do you take walk Ins ?
We do take walk inās and enjoy them, however it is on a first come, first serve basis. Your best bet is to call when we open at 12:00pm and check the availability of our artists. To guarantee a spot, we strongly recommend and encourage making an appointment.
Can I bring a friend or family member to my appointment?
To respect the space and privacy of other artists and clients, we ask that you come alone to your appointment. Exceptions will be made for those who require a guardian or personal assistance or who may have children, so please just ask your artist. We are friendly and we’re also family oriented ourselves which means we are very understanding, we promise ! This rule may become more strict depending if new COVID 19 PROTOCOLS come back in effect.
Will my tattoo fade ?
Due to the natural aging process of the skin, some fading is normal. Sun Exposure is the most common cause for tattoo fading so sun protection of at least SPF 30 is always recommended. Taking care of your tattoo is the best way to prevent premature fading and ensure the longevity of your artwork.
Who are your customers ?
Our customers come from all walks of life and gender identifications. Bad Boy Ink is happy to ink anyone aged 18 and over with ID proof or 16 to 17 with Parental/Legal Guardian. We have many fans of our tattoo work and we have a strong following for our custom tattoos amongst

A significant number of customers travel many miles to get tattooed here at Bad Boy Ink, including across Middlesex Centre, St. Thomas, Sarnia, Strathroy, Southwestern Ontario, Oxford County, Ontario, and yes from other provinces in Canada and also the United States.
How long will my tattoo last?
The longevity of your tattoo often depends on your aftercare routine, using sunscreen regularly, and where on the body you get your tattoo. In general, they last forever ā but some bleeding and fading after many years are to be expected.
Do you offer tattoo laser removal or cover ups ?
We do not offer tattoo laser removal at our tattoo shop. We do offer tattoo touch-ups, tattoo cover-ups and redesigns. If you have a tattoo that you no longer like or is no longer appropriate to your personal circumstances. Contact us for a consultation. We have āconvertedā many old, outdated and botched tattoos into beautiful new works of art by skilfully incorporating the old design into a new one.
Do you still offer piercings?
Unfortunately, we no longer offer piercing services at YST. Be sure to ask your artist and they can direct you to a reputable piercing shop that will meet your needs.
Are you licsenced and health inspected ?
Absolutely Yes, to both. As a fully licensed tattoo shop in London, ON, we are subject to random inspections by the Middlesex London Health Unit. Their inspectors will check all aspects of our tattoo shop, procedures, facilities, tools and supplies. also you can look up on the middlesex health webpage and look up if a any inspected tattoo shop has any prior incidents. we all must take part in keeping or community healthy.COVID-19 protocols.
How do I book an appointment?
To book an appointment, please view our portfolio, and then contact your artist directly through the contact form if your ready to book please go to the BOOK NOW BUTTON. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible, however, response times may vary. You can also visit your desired artistās Instagram page, and contact them via direct message or cal the shop.
What is the age requirements to get tattooed ?
To get a tattoo from us, you must be 18 or over and provide the necessary ID. We require ONE of the following forms of ID:
Valid Government Issued Drivers Licence
Passport
Photo Health Card
Age of Majority card
Status Card
Military I.D.
Students and young people aged 16 and 17 can get tattooed only with parental consent. To minimize risk, we also do not offer tattoos for pregnant women.Ā For more details on parental/legal guardian consent/permission, see following question drop box.
Yes, we know that legally, there is no minimum age in Ontario for a person to get a tattoo, but a tattoo is a lifelong commitment. So, we want to ensure that young people are fully aware of the implications and that their parents/legal guardian consent to that choice. In short,Ā No Consent = No Tattoo. Our shop, our rules.
A deposit will also be due.
How do I book an appointment when 16 and 17 years old ?
To book an appointment, you must have parental consent, anyone aged 16 or 17 wanting to get tattooed at Bad Boy Ink. Parents/Legal Guardian must have proof of ID themselves and provide a contact phone number.
Parental consent must be given by a parent accompanying the young person to a pre-booked appointment and signing a consent form at our shop. Parents can also visit us and sign the consent form in advance of their young personās visit. We can also accept forms signed off the premises and brought in by a young person provided that there is a valid contact phone number, and we can verify parental permission at the appointment time.Ā If we cannot contact the parent/Legal Guardian who has signed the form, we will not proceed with a tattoo.
All tattoo appointments for this age group must be booked in advance ā no walk-ins.
What is the cancellation policy?
-Your deposit is 100% non-refundable, no matter the circumstance.

-Rescheduling an appointment requires a 72 hour notice. Failure to inform us within 72 hours prior to your appointment results in a loss of deposit. A new deposit must be put down in order to rebook / keep your existing appointments.

-You can reschedule your appointment date ONE TIME. If you require an additional reschedule, your deposit will be lost to compensate for that day and a new one must be placed to book another appointment.

-No appointment date in the books results in a loss of your deposit (example: if you need to move your appointment but are unsure to when, your deposit will be lost. An appointment date MUST be in the books to hold a deposit).
How should I prepare for my upcoming appointment?
Please do not drink alcohol before your appointment, and make sure you eat and drink water beforehand. Do not apply lotions to your skin before your appointment, clean, dry skin is preferred. Please check with shop before any usage of numbing cremes, we want to ensure proper appliance of such products.
I have an idea for a big tattoo ā how do I get started?
For a large, custom-designed tattoo, you’ll need to set up a consultation and pay a deposit to see the finished art. A typical consultation session lasts 30-60 minutes. It can be done in person or over the video chat. This allows you to tell your artist about your idea, budget, style, ideal size, and body placement. They will trace the area of your tattoo and take down any other necessary information. To go forward with the design, your artist will require a non-refundable deposit that will be deducted from the cost of your last session.
How much will it cost?
Our shop minimum is $80. This covers the cost of supplies, no matter how simple the tattoo is. Rates are determined by the piece size placement and intricacy of design. Quotes are very difficult to give over the phone or email, for a more accurate quote to be given please either set up a video consultation or a in person via a consultation with an artist. deposits for consultations will vary on size $50.00 -small $75.00- medium and 25% of total price on larger designs. deposits need to be paid to ensure time and booking date all deposits are nonrefundable and deducted from the cost of your last session. We accept Cash, Credit Cards, Debit Cards andĀ Bad Boy Ink GiftCards.
Do you do touch ups ?
Yes occasionally touch-ups will need to be done to your tattoo for any number of reasons. We will never blame you for the healing process of your tattoo. Our priority is that you are happy with final outcome of your tattoo. So donāt stress. If, for any reason, your tattoo needs to be touched up at any point in the first year we offer a one time touch at no charge, come on back, and we will gladly hook you up. Our number one goal is customer service.
